One Thing to be Grateful for Each Day

Today my son and I were talking (texting) and he reminded me of one of the adventures we were involved in a few years back. It was a breath of fresh air to my mind and heart. It was a funny, great memory. Then suddenly I remembered who I was prior to my relationship with my exhusband. Surprisingly, I liked her, she wasn't so bad.

I just thought of something important. I’m super extra grateful for my unusual body chemistry. I’m prone to misusing substances that have abuse potential, but only a few. The reason being that I just don’t get any pleasurable effects from half of the drugs that are widely abused.

So, although the most widely used drugs are harmful for me, at least I was not susceptible to all the addictions.

I got through this day intact, no s.h., no panic attack, even did a workout.

All this week, with the exception of Tuesday, it has been working from home all week. No need to rush through things each day and getting some chores done around the house.
