Part of recovery is finding things to be grateful for. Thought I would start a thread where we could list just one thing we are grateful for each day. I will start it out.

I am grateful to have a roof over my head.

I'm grateful for friends both here and IRL. I know I have a lot of things to be grateful for but listing them here helps.

I am so very grateful that I don't work in Seattle anymore. It is a dirty city. Filled with crime, drugs, and the homeless. It is brutal to try and get there on the bus. Can take hours to go 30 miles. Parking is incredibly expensive. It was once a beautiful city. Now it is a mess.

I am gratfeul for a few things today, one being I was able to leave the house without too much bother, another is I made my bro's gf happy by finding her something she was looking for ages for in the shops and I even got a hug from her, last but not least grateful I have my mom to go places with. I can tell she doesn't want to always go but it is great that she does for me
