the dandelion is the symbol of perseverance and our inspiration to stay with the struggle even when it may seem like everything is going against us.
the dandelion has some pretty fierce attackers - chemical companies - that want to make money by killing beautiful flowers. A perfect lawn has these wonderful powerful flowers scattered about to help beautify the world and that particular lawn - That's what I say!
Did you know dandelions can adjust their growing height to accommodate lawn mowers that might be running above and that is how they survive.
I have to ask; what kind of sociopathy could be driving those chemical companies? dandelions stand up to them and flourish. someone like me and my DID System (that incidentally we call the dandelion garden) needs to flourish too in the face of adversity. we are a CSA survivor. We love how the dandelion has always inspired perseverance in us.
