Is there a way to edit my safety plan post, or do I need to cop/paste/edit into a reply?

Thanks for the awesome resource!

Sometimes, you can edit your own posts with the "edit" button between the "report" and "bookmark" button at the bottom of the post, however I think this may depend on the sub-forum. If the "edit" button is not there, we'll have to wait for an admin to answer the question for us.

Hi, Jgrabc. There is a time-limited editing opportunity. If we didn’t stop the editing function after a short time period, we would lose posts on a continuing basis from people who decided they didn’t need/want to have a post up.

If a member requests some relatively minor changes, sometimes a kind staff member will make those changes. So if the changes are minor, you can let us know in this thread. If they are more complication, my suggestion is to add a new reply to your original safety plan post and put in a bright colour and bold faced type at the beginning of the new post EDITED version of Safety Plan (then go to normal font for the rest of it).

Let us know what you wish to do. :)
