I wanted to start off a thank you thread to the forum. Just to the forum, not individuals as i dont want to single people out. So if you want to thank the forum or a comment about how you feel about it, write it here.

Heres mine:

I owe a lot to the forum, which has been a life line over the last 6 months during a mad upheaval im experiencing.

I am really grateful for the support i get from members but also for the opportunity to give some support to others in need.

What a lovely thread. This place has been a lifeline for me so many times in the last 3 years (I think). Especially the last 14 months which have been a complete rollercoaster of bad luck, ill health and all sorts. I am so grateful for all the people here, of course there are some in particular i interact more with than others, but I don't want to single people out. It's more the safety of this community, I really value being here as it feels like a bit of an online home for me. Especially now everything's gone Reddit and social media, I suppose forums were my first social fix on the internet and something about the format is really comforting.

You are most welcome. I am glad we have a fine and caring group where support is given and shared between the members and all can join in with their place at the table here.

I'm also grateful as I can be for SF. Thank you. So much of what I have gained has been buoyed from people here. Sometimes a post is made just exactly at the right moment; it's hard to describe how deeply helpful it is.

I am so thankful to have found this place. It feels like a island of kindness and care in an ocean of hostility and anger. Coming on here, being able to talk freely about my SI, being heard and not judged by others, has really helped the SI calm down. Whenever things get too much, i know I can come to SF and hear some wise words that will be just what i need.

It’s good to feel supported when life gets rough. To feel like people care and are on your side when you’re in a crisis.

It’s really nice to have a place where you can just be honest about both the good and the bad and keep the first point from happening too often.

This forum has been both to me over the years.
