What is your "outlet" for anger?

I have a lot of anger and feelings of wanting revenge. It doesn't matter why, I'm just looking to hear what others do to release this. I know a lot of people work out, but that doesn't help me personally. I'm also not religious at all so that isn't an option. The most efficient thing for me has been to just destroy things, but I am looking for a better way and am curious what others do to help manage anger or stress.

Playing violent video games. I've got a history with anger issues, although i'm getting better at managing it over the years, so i wouldn't say i'm an especially angry person any more, just a bit more grumpy than most. But i always found that when i couldn't manage the anger, the best thing to do was get it out by playing something really visceral like Hotline Miami or Last of Us. Caving virtual people's skulls in with whatever's to hand can be very cathartic for that pent-up rage. They're great ways to rage out without doing any actual harm.

I have had problems with getting angry, and sometimes, in the past, acting on it.
Playing the piano.
Running. It uses the angry energy in a physical way, which is what I need to feel better.
Sorry this sounds sort arrogant: I'm very good at drawing and painting people, and I found that for me doing nasty caricatures has helped. I don't post them anymore because it can be seen as slander, plus, I've got that out of my system.

This isn't advice but since you asked:
Punching the wall
Banging my desk
If I have a thing of alcohol nearby I take the biggest gulp I can
Buy something off of one of my online wishlists without taking into account how much money I actually have
Bite my wrists
If I hurt myself on something, I punch it back
Find ways to get revenge on the person who caused me pain
Cussing the opponent out in text chat
Again, none of this is advice to what you should do, but when you live in a world where your problems are unsolvable like mine, you have to take what you get.

Used to destroy things in my 20s and 30s. In 40s I dis not have energy to exoress anger, it consumed me. Currebtly in talk therapy to clear that emotional charge I jabe stored in my body, leftovers from times when I ate shit instead of rationally facing issues at hand and clearing misunderstandings or past misgivings. I do ocassionally listen to trash metal to get anger energy out of fhe system or comvert it into a joy of music.
