How to access chat

Hi, I am new here and I find it very confusing. How can you access a chat room? Thanks for your help.

I've replied to your query on the contact form but I can post a screen shot here which might be more apparent -


This is on a laptop but it's quite similar on your phone. Click on chat rooms and it'll bring you to this screen -


Then you can pick which room you'd like to enter. (Looks like it's not very busy at the moment so you might try posting on the forum!)

Sometimes you have to click on the arrow icon to show chat

I've been having trouble with chat as well. I have to refresh the page to see the replies instead of seeing them in real time. Is it because I'm on my phone perhaps?

Phones can be tricky at times a lot has to do with your WiFi connection or your phone connection. I know when I am at my parents place I have to refresh all the time otherwise not so much. I have also found on my laptop that my internet connection just gets lost having nothing really to do with SF but still effecting SF

I have the same thing. It’s easier to notice when chat is busy, because if you don’t see any messages for a minute or two, then you can know that you need to refresh.

I never have this problem from my laptop. It’s windows 11. I’m biting my tongue resisting the urge to bash Microsoft, but it wouldn’t help.

I have the same problem intermittently on my phone. Never on my laptop.
