You will all notice that there is a new forum section in the feed, below the 'You are Not Alone' forum. After having had a faith forum for some time on SF somewhat 'hidden' inside the coffee house, and having fielded many many PMs and requests over time from people seeking support either from other people of their faith or people seeking support in particular WITH their faith, we have decided to open this forum up a little wider in the hope that more people can find the support they need here.
SF remains and will always remain completely unaffiliated with any faith or faiths. Our goal is to provide support to the maximum number of people and we have many members who find support in faith of all kinds. The faith forums are inclusive of every faith and belief system - we have created 'prefixes' for the most 'popular' faiths (helpfully supplied by Google!) - if you do not see yours included and would like us to add it, please let us know.
If you find religious content upsetting, triggering, frustrating or any other negative thing, please utilise the ignore feature and remove this forum from your feed. If you would like admin to remove it for you so it is permanently disabled then please write a Letter to Admin and we will do that for.
Like all areas of SF this forum is SUPPORT based. The forum is designed for those looking for specific faith based support from other individuals of their faith, people who are struggling with faith and would like support in their struggles, people simply reaching out for prayers or people with polite sincere questions about religion/faith. If you feel that you cannot respond to posts in a supportive and compassionate manner, please do not post here at all.
If you have atheist views or views that are antagonistic about faith or people of faith, please remove this forum from your feed. Posts that say negative things about faith/God/religion/people of faith in any way will be removed, the member will be permanently banned from seeing the forum and the member may incur warning points that could limit their access to certain SF features.

I am sure that everyone will agree that SF should offer the most support possible to anyone and everyone who is struggling here and I am sure that all of our amazing members will continue to offer the support, care, friendship and compassion that makes SF the incredible place that it is.

Rules of Use for the Faith Forum:
- If you do not have anything nice to say, please do not post. We are first and foremost a support forum for vulnerable suicidal people. This is not the place to pass judgement. Any posts that pass judgement on a person’s choices/lifestyle/sexuality/etc. will be immediately deleted and the posting member will have the faith forum removed from their feed.
- SF does not endorse any religion or faith. Everyone is welcome to their own beliefs. SF does not allow posts that are ‘preaching’ or encouraging people to convert to or explore a new or alternative faith anywhere on the forum, including the religion forums.
- If you wish to private message with a member on the topic of faith, we require that you first message the person for permission, specifying that you wish to discuss faith topics. Please do not message members about faith if they have not engaged in this section of the forum. Sending unsolicited faith based messages or spamming members with preaching/religious messages may lead to a permanent ban from SF.
- Replies to requests for faith based support that in any way attack God or faith of any kind will be deleted. Posts that have an Atheist viewpoint have no place in the faith support forums and will be deleted. In either instance the posting member will have the faith forum permanently removed from their feed.
- Polite questions, curiosity and exploration of faith is permitted within the “questions or polite curiosity” section. Respect is required at all times in this section. Please do not argue with anyone’s point of view or try to persuade people to agree with you.
