3457 steps today so far. Cold day, not as much fun walking. Caught a few new pokemon. Said good morning to several people (challenging my social anxiety) and also stopped to pat 2 greyhounds and talk with their owners.
Might go back out later. Noticing I'm not as motivated today.

My second walk of day the was much longer. Went through the park then on to mitre10 store, brought a nice sloth heat pack then went home.
I swear squirtles were following me. Saw about 40 on the way home and not much else.
Step count now at 8876 steps. Not planning another walk, this one was a little long and tiring. Feet hurt now so time for rest and hydration.

It sounds like you were having that walk during the Squirtle community (make up) day. It was Sunday from 2-5 & there would've been mostly all Squirtle everywhere for those 3 hours.
There's also a one hour event like that every Tuesday evening from 6-7. Each week features someone different. Like this Tuesday is Poliwhirl I believe.

Tell me about it. Opened pokemon go and tried taking a photo of my buddy. Was showing mum. This was the result.

How on earth do you figure out which are the best pokemon to keep. I evolved ponyta to rapidash. Waiting for enough dust stuff to add another attack, but now seriously doubting if rapidash is the right pokemon to level up. Just *dunno

i like to keep/prioritise anything that's a 3* and high ish CP - if you go on 'Appraisal' on the menu there's a woman that tells you how they are stats wise :)

Orrrr just keep your faves haha

Thanks @Brân that was very helpful. I have 24 at 3* gives me somewhere to start. Sadly Rapidash isn’t one of them. But I'm glad that I didn't waste 50,000 dust on adding another attack.

Rather unmotivated today. Sat around in pj's until midday. Then made myself go out for a pokemon walk. Had more anxiety around people today. It wasn't as enjoyable as other days. I hope today is just a glitch and I can get back on track tomorrow. Step count 3469.
Took a couple of photos. All of the same geothermal pool. Not sure they are good photos but enjoy.

Bear in mind it's winter here and those pools are about 100 degrees Celsius.

I'm with @Brân about keeping anything that is 3* but there are also some 2* that are good. You can pretty much toss out anything that is 0 or 1 though.
Just curious why you want to teach your rapidash a 2nd attack? Is that just because she's your fave?

I had no idea which pokemon were good or not, evolved ponyta and then thought next was adding an attack before levelling up.
Total noob at your service *hysterical

Bitterly cold here today, wind coming from the south off snow. This morning it was far too cold to go for a walk. But this afternoon I managed to force myself out. Caught a few new pokemon and got a stockpile of pokemon balls. 3km walk about an hour. Step count 6163. Just pulled the curtains early tonight to try keep the heat in. Going to be -1 Celsius tonight. 30 F for those still now switched to metric.
Plants watered and covered to hopefully protect from the morning frost.
Tomorrow is another day. Will see how cold it is.

Battled another gym this morning near my house while waiting for pick up. Walked to nearest pokemon stop. Omg the path was slippery. It had rained overnight and then frozen.
Big frost this morning.

Conclusion is no early morning walks as I'd surely slip over. Photo was taken at 8:40am. Was worse earlier.
