It’s refreshing to see that others agree. Existential depression is a huge problem for me
May I suggest Albert Camus's brilliant essay The Myth of Sisyphus? I found a lot of comfort therein.

BTW, existential depression is something I've struggled with on and off for many years. Reading this always grounds me again.

I’ve always wanted to read Camus, so this will be a wonderful place to start. Thank you for the suggestion, I greatly appreciate it. I’m looking forward to reading it

I should read more Philosophy. The Stoics said that "what makes a life worth living is being useful to others, trying to make the world a better place, our relationships with people we love, and our freedom as moral agents"

Hmm... I just want to get a high-score on Pacman. I'm rubbish at Pacman... maybe people used to lead more meaningful lives back then because they had to?

I'm not sure there is a reason anymore , my boyfriend passed away , I have no kids , my parents passed away. My sisters have their own lives. I have nothing .

I'm so sorry @Dumas Having those people pass away must have been very difficult.
It's sad that so many here feel so alone. I pray you have some sort of relief soon. I have a tough time moving forward too. You're not alone. Hopefully things change soon.
