Where I live has months of over 90*F (32C) and usually 6-8 weeks of that is temps around or over 100 degrees F(37C) I understand completely. If it was not for air conditioning parts of the southern United States would probably be empty

In summer we may have +30C or more for a few weeks, but in winter it may be -20...-30C for a few weeks... Because of this we need to have a lot of clothes for all seasons. The air conditioner is great But I live in a rented apartment, there is no air conditioning here. An apartment with air conditioning costs 80% of my monthly salary.
So I get used to the heat in summer and the cold in winter
Yesterday I picked up my new reading glasses, so celebrated by going to the library, I took out a couple of novels and a book on CBT. Today I spent the day curled up on the sofa reading, something I haven't done for ages.
My cat does that too, his long tail thwacking me in the face.
Today attended to mindfulness, had breakfast, did a few amall chores, & I just ate dinner. I forgave myself for a really inappropriate crack I made at the store.
