What have you done for self care today?

I tried to meditate. In 45 minutes I managed to get from 1 breath to 10 breaths approximately 1 time. The rest of it, my mind was just going through solutions to things. So I played an audio hypnosis stress relief thing instead and actually relaxed for half an hour. Maybe I should do it every day instead of just once a week, might be more helpful than meditation right now (I'm an experienced meditator and can usually go 3 hours without a thought popping into my head but that ability seems to have collapsed in the midst of multiple problems, along with the fact I lapsed in my practice when things started going south).

I researched medications prescribed related to medical diagnosis. Walked 2 miles with out the dogs, felt nice in the current fall temperatures. Cooked some curry cauliflower dal this morning and made an 8 inch organic gluten free chocolate chocolate chip cookie, in a cast iron pan....not exactly healthy but fun to see how it would turn out....will have a bite and then freeze the rest for the possibility of having a chocolate craving sometime in the future:)
