My current self care is eating better, I’m on day 8 of sticking to 1600 calories (which I was totally eating more than that before) requiring me to weigh and measure everything out! I feel so much better for it! I’ve even noticed a slight change in my pain with my fibromyalgia so I’m happy about that, hopefully I won’t need as many pain meds from now on. Here’s to hoping I don’t fold and go back to old habits. I really have @Lux to thank because she’s kind of the reason for me wanting to calorie count, and giving me advice, like not weighing weekly, instead this first weigh in I’m going to weigh on 12th feb which will be my first weigh in. I’m just grateful for everyone’s support here. Especially @Auri @Harrow and @Lux

I've been walking today and generally getting more exercise in. I've cut out all the biscuits and crisps I've been eating and gone low carb. The week before last I could barely get into any of my jeans and today they felt comfortable. I just hit that one day where I thought this has to stop. Pretty pleased that I've actually lost 5lbs but it's a miracle I've lost anything at all because it hasn't shifted in nearly 2 years. Just have to keep going and keep planning meals ahead so I don't snack. So yep, I'm feeling good this week.

I got out of bed, ate breakfast, and taking a bath. I know it isn't much, but it took a lot for me to do it, especially eating as I could barely get down the dry bagel.

Hope you all can find some peace of mind today!

I am a new member here, have just been leaving SF up on my phone as it feels like I am less alone just having this site up.

Thank you all for caring for one another, it is beautiful.

A warm welcome to SF @MrBlue :)

I'm glad that you've found this supportive place to help you feel less alone. Most of us can relate to that a lot.

That's actually a really great accomplishment! Some days I struggle to do that much myself so, well done! Nothing is too small to be an achievement!

Take good care of yourself *hug

Turned off most of the lights in the house, dimmed my PC screen and put on sunglasses. (Damned headache). Since I know this is light sensitive (The pain mostly stops if I cover my eyes) then I can use alcohol as a painkiller and muscle relaxant (this feels like a tension headache of some kind).

Im just glad I can touch type, I cant even see my keyboard.

Doubt it, its been weeks, but thanks anyway, I turned out ALL the lights and kept the sunglasses on, it surprising how easy it is to function in the home you grew up in without sight, everything is exactly where you expect it to be, as for the screen, I found a way to make it dimmer.

My headache is tolerable again.

Either way, Thanks Lane :)
