What have you accomplished today?

@Reality Yes, coming into contact with wild animals can be 'interesting' and at times dangerous for humans as well as the animals. Ultimately it's usually the animals who lose out. I grew up and have lived in rural areas as well as remote mountain places so am really familiar with what can happen. I could go on and on with stories but won't bore everyone with them lol. I choose to leave water out for the birds and it is inevitable that other creatures enjoy it as well. It's not my raccoon and I will dfinitely not be feeding it, at least not intentionally. The neighborhoods all around here have a lot of trees, shrubs and yards with sheds etc., which for now functions a kind of modern environment for raccoons, and other critters.
I didnt mean I'm accusing you of having a racoon, I should slow down writing. I just meant the neighbors I had caged them and thought it was funny. I don't think you could bore me at all with your stories. I thought you meant the racoon pooped in the bird bath. sheesh, sorry. dont post when tired is what I should remember...It would be nice if humans didn't take away so much of nature meant for all the critters and animals.

Got to the dentist and back on my own (well, ok, i Ubered, but yknow) with no incidents, and came away with a clean bill of health. No new cavities. Which feels kinda miraculous given the last time i went there was 5 years ago, and i spent 3 of those years in a depressive state of apathy. I was pretty much certain i was gonna have to get something drilled.

Congrats! I haven't been in a while either and I have the worst dreams about losing teeth. *facepalm Last time we did quite a bit of work though, my teeth still feel very healthy, but I also don't want to pay anything as that was very expensive. (In Belgium, the dentist is free if you do a check up every year. I clearly don't. ^^) I should try in the UK maybe (?). :D

I can relate, i've had such a similar anxiety in the past. I still get the losing teeth dream sometimes.
The thing that gave me the motivation to go at last was actually that a hardened bit of plaque broke away, and gave me that scare it can where you go "was that a shard of tooth? 😨"

I've got my checkup and waterboarding (hygienist) at end of the month. I had a scare the other day when I was eating muesli and bit into something that didn't have the texture or taste of cereal all of a sudden. Crunchy and horrible. Might have been a husk or bit of grit that got through the process, am hoping it wasn't a bit of tooth as private fillings are £200 😬 Can't feel any holes, and my tongue usually won't leave any gaps alone.

I did 34 minutes of tidying and cleaning kitchen up a bit despite my ailments. Not sure what's worse for my body, sitting and resting or moving. One minute I am fine, the next not. Oh well I got through that without any explosions of pain at least.
