It's very warm, I got no sleep and am shedding virus like a don't know what, but I forced myself to at least clean the kitchen worktops, sink and cooker. It's been building up for weeks and with work and general survival, I don't get round to it but also seeing it gets me down. I fell out of my habit of doing 30 mins of house admin a day, all it needs really. So I've done 40 minutes today and at least it's a start and I'll try to keep it up. Now I'll try to get a bit creative for this work stuff, damned if I'm going to let it beat me. I did half an hour this morning which was my longest bit so far, the hardest part is absorbing all the instructions so am trying to eat the elephant one piece at a time. I keep trying to rest or watch things but I just doze off and feel groggy and rubbish so will try to keep going.

I prematurely payed off one of my loans *stars

I took out small loans when I was really suicidal and just wasn't thinking straight, just couldn't work and was thinking am gonna die anyway before I pay them all, but about a month ago I noticed some of the loans I am going to pay off by the end of the year and had small amounts left, so I actually payed one off today, even before December. It felt like those loans were for life, never ending, but here I am. Feels great.

I went to the dentist *nerves

Was scared, cause I hate the pain, it's just so unsettling, I would rather have my arm broken in half *woohoo

Anywho, I got the anesthetic this time and no pain. Also, since I had dentistry benefits left for this year, I only had to pay 20€ altogether. Now just gotta hope it worked. *nono

Thanks @unnoticed @Fox @charlietgirl @bubblebear for supporting me on this journey *shake

I split a pickup truck load of firewood that a chainsawed yesterday from a huge ash tree that fell a few years ago on my neighbor's farm. There's still a large quantity of lesser limbs I'll chop saw into shorter lengths tomorrow.
My shoulder injury from last March has mostly healed now. I'm without pain but have only about 85% or 90 % function back and that may be as good as it's going to get. I'm OK with that. I'm 70, I'll accept it.

Today was my last day at my paper delivery job, can't believe I can sleep through the night again :D

When I gave my months notice, the first two weeks were really rough and I wanted to just not go anymore, but as always, the people here supported me and encouraged me to stick with it until the end and I did it. I am proud of myself and thankful for the people who helped me make it @unnoticed @charlietgirl @Harrow @bubblebear and probably others :)

Although I'm going to be, once again, tight with money, I payed off three of my six loans with the 6 months I worked at the extra job, so I am in a much better place financially.

We are proud of you *hug

I'm up and moving early, already showered and ready to step out into the sunrise with the dogs this Saturday morning and greet the day. It's a start to pulling myself out of the holiday depression I sank into this week. Then I'm going to plant my spiderwort seeds for the naturalist group project that's happening.
