I played three rounds of disc golf with brother. Three rounds is a rare happening, but was one of those wanting to play days. Although on the very last basket I did my worst, which left a sour taste in my mouth, BUT I feel okay now and have 19k steps for today... That I can now balance with loads of chips and a cake. A lot to take in on this huh *help

European Disc Golf Championships are held here and I went to see them in person yesterday, so got 25 500 steps in. Gonna see it today as well, expecting about the same. Feels good to be active, although not a lot of time to sleep lately :D

I'm in training camp with kids from Sunday to Thursday which means long active days as well.

I turned off the email notification on my work email app on phone. Although it's useful to have the app on my phone and know if an important email has come in, it's been very distracting when I've been trying to put a line between my work and personal time. I really don't need to know X who is working the weekend has emailed about the issue last week which I tried to resolve but have now put out of my mind until Monday. I'll deal with the email after the weekend by looking in my inbox, also I don't need notifications every 2 minutes that some spam has come in. My mind already feels quieter and I am having a lazy day on my sofa.

Took a road trip across the Great Divide. 5 hour drive each way, listened to classic 80s radio and news, saw the Rockies. Camped at Monument Park, where we had an amazing giant lightning storm right across the canyon from us. Took a morning hike before it got too hot, drove back, stopped in Palisade for fresh farm peaches. Was a good start to the weekend.

Did a bit of shopping. Started my shopping list about 2 weeks ago, so could add until I finally go. Bought the stuff that lasts for months like razors, seasonings, underwear and such, also stuff for the new training season for the club. Feels good to be settled for some time again *yes4
