Roasted veggie frozen pizza from Trader Joe’s. The oven stopped working in the middle of preheating so I put it in the toaster oven, then it was starting to overcook on the bottom but the veggies were still cold, so I finished it in the microwave. The crust isn’t cooked well, but it’s still pizza.

i hope it did the trick for you. but I have experienced preparing a meal and everything that could go wrong going wrong. so i can sympathize with you. I hope you have a better that usual pizza in the not too distant future.

Thanks. It seemed to work out ok.
I think when I have more money I’ll go back to the flatbread pizza place where you can pick all the topics you want for a fixed price. That place is always good.

Does he have a brother?
lol... he actually does like to cook...but it's also self -defense as one meal I tried to prepare for our anniversary...one thing under-cooked, one thing over-cooked, one thing just horrid and ended with his favorite pie lemon meringue ,,the meringue was perfect but the lemon custard never set so was like a wave of meringue that required a bowl to eat...give him credit at least he took a bite of each...lol...

and yes he does have brothers but both are married....give credit to his mom as they all cook

• Natto mixed with finely chopped kale over (and side by side w/) rice;
• A Japanese pickled vegetable condiment/relish type food to be eaten with rice;
• Chicken gizzards seasoned, boiled until nearly dry & then sauteed to perfection.
• Seltzer.

Natto?

Sounds all good @extraterrestrialone.

I wonder how many folks here would like gizzards? I say use all parts of the animal and you describe the final dish so nicely.

I checked and gizzards are eaten by humans all over the world so it's not just us extras. As for Natto, this is where some peeps might put their foots down. It is (Japanese) fermented soy beans, served seasoned with tsuyu - a sauce made from soy sauce etc. It is delicious and I love it, yet has a fragrance and appearance that might disgruntle the American palate.

Sounds flavorful and on my list of must tries. Thank you.
