Any interesting dreams?

#81
I was on a long road and could see Buenos Aires in the distance
I think the UK has had a bit of dust-up with the Argentinians in the past, so maybe that's where this is coming from.
don't know how these magic cosmetics would have saved the day
Maybe everyone would have looked so hot, the Argentinians, or whoever was invading, would have decided to make love, not war?

I know this part is a silly reply. Even bizarre dreams can be really emotionally powerful, so apologies in advance if this is not appropriate. It's ok if you want your dreams to be off limits to replies like this.

Another night of dreams that I remembered -

One involves a friend who ordered something (which could be used as a method) and had it delivered to my house. I wondered why she chose that particular one.

Another involved the same friend, as we drove through my city while I pointed out some landmarks. Then we drove into the countryside, and later to woods. My dad was there. There was something he wanted me to do, but that day was the last time I could do it. A method was involved, but I didn't have it. I seldom dream of my dad, he died 30 years ago.

I rarely have dreams anymore, not since the nightmares stopped, (had them as long as I could remember until around 25 yrs old) they just end up being mundane or weird now. But a couple do stick with me.

My favourite was a dream about a tour guide to my local area, not anywhere interesting, just roads and people's gardens, and he was clad in full plate armour. He kept insisting that I had to clear his route for him in advance of the tour which took him through hedges, people's gardens and more, he even said I had to cut down a fence because he wasn't taking a detour to the gate 1 meter to the left.

It was like he had drawn random scribbled lines on a map blindfold and by damn he was going to stick to his route.

I dreamed I was getting another tattoo, but there was a line, and two guys accused me of pushing to get in front of them. The tattoo artist started to put a design on my bicep, but then I asked him to put it on my chest

peace

Weird vivid dream last night (well this morning as I forced myself to have a lie in). I was some kind of healthcare worker in a big setting, there were rows of patients and there was also some kind of award ceremony going on. Some of it's foggy but things that stand out - at one point I went into the wrong room and found myself in front of a giant AI dog that looked like Anubis. There were some futuristic kids watching AIs play games against each other on a big screen. I thought is this what it's come to? Then I heard my sister yelling at me that the dog was locked in the car and I should go and sort it out, next minute the dog was in the main ward at the nurse's station, attacking another dog. Then I was no longer a healthcare worker, as my father was admitted and the last I know of the dream was my parents were still alive. My mother was there, but I'd had some kind of massive fallout with them and they were totally ignoring me until this last part of the dream, when I got close to my dad again and laid my head on him and begged him not to die, as he was gravely ill, I asked them if there was anything they could do to help his breathing but they said no, it was just wait and see. I remember stroking his arm tattoo and then I woke up. My dreams have faded pretty quickly recently, too quick to capture, but the last parts of this stuck in my mind.

I had a dream that I was living with a roommate again, and one of the senior leadership/managers/whatever from work was in love with him, and she was trying to break into our house.

I had a dream I stepped onto an ice covered pond. My ex was standing out in the middle. As The entire ice surface came away from and began floating free of the edge. I looked up to see the pond was actually a meander section of a river, and I was about to be swept into it. I guess, now that I'm writing this, it was metaphorical. At the last moment I reached across and pulled my section of ice back to the shore, and stepped off onto solid ground.

Last night I had a dream that I got a job with a really low pay, but I took it anyway because I was desperate. When I got the money in my bank account, there was a note saying that I was accused of doing something criminal. Really weird and scary. I also took a nap today and had sleep paralysis. Also scary.

Been having recurring dreams about fires and fire alarms lately. Fire alarm testing, fire alarms malfunctioning, and being trapped in burning buildings.

Strange dream (almost a lucid nightmare) last night - a few moments before waking up I was presented with the option of....

Going downstairs to like the basement of a hotel of some sorts where something absolulely gruesome (involving young folk) supposedly had taken place - based on what a hotel staff member communicated to my mind. (There rarely is sound in my dreams, I sort of feel the thoughts and words, not hear them auditory).
I knew it was a dream, but some part of my (OCD) mind sometimes takes over it looks like...

I felt like because I was half in a lucid state in that dream, "debating" whether or not I should head downstairs or not...
Some sort of insanely morbid curiosity took over and the dream had ended before I got to "witness" anything.

My OCD sometimes takes me into dark places (World War 2 related stuff and the famous "harm OCD" thoughts) during my waking hours and this dream was pretty damn dark! *scared*hiding

The thing is: Regardless of the outcome of that dream - I have the resolve to continue sleeping and that's what I did - 2 more hours of sleeps after the Lucid Nightmare. The dreams after that were about spinning vinyl records *hysterical but I didn't get to hear the sound of the album through the speakers.

Very interesting thead.

I usually have two different kinds of dreams. One in where I am trying to fix something, the other where I am trying to go somewhere in the car. I am usually lost and don't know what road to take to get where I am going. But I usually do manage to fix what I am working on. Then occasionally I have a spiritual dream. These are creative and sometimes awesome. I never have nightmares.
