I feel like he's demonstrated to you that if you don't give him his way, he'll manage to eventually take it anyway. It's possible that things are good right now because you two haven't disagreed on much as of yet, but once you do, he might force you into something you don't want or start manipulating or threatening you in some way. I think "love bombing" is indeed the proper term as someone else said for what's happening here. And just because he acts like truly cares for you doesn't mean that he'll never hurt you. Be careful.
