• Xenforo forums over the past few months have been seeing spam posts from existing user accounts. Bots hitting forums using lists of emails/passwords leaked elsewhere. We strongly recommend that all users change their password ASAP.

You know someone asked for the process that we were using so I did

Pho - we know there is a problem - Tim has worked on it for hours today. The truth is that as of right now, unless Tim has figured out the problem while iwas away, we don't know what is causing it. I know that people are upset and stressed (I am upset and stressed too) but I promise we are working on it and will continue to work on it until it is fixed. Thank you for the screenshots.

The only thing that has frustrated me today is that I’ve tried to help with my limited capabilities just having a phone
I get there is going to be problems no chat
I don’t care if I don’t have these resources for the moment are they nice do I miss them yes but it’s not the end of the world
I was just trying to help
I will take a step back
You don’t need to take the time to respond to this I do know you have a lot on your plate as do others

This is very unfriendly for Macs. Probably won't be around much anymore.
I don't know what problems you've been experiencing, but if you're using Safari, that might the reason for some or all of them. You can use Chrome and Firefox on Macs just fine. Both are simple to download and install. If you're currently running Safari, you should try one of those. I'd recommend Chrome, but Firefox would work fine too.

I definitely think we'll have you up and cooking without a trip to the Apple store. No worries. Just keep hanging in there.

Let me know if screenshots for using google chrome are need fro using a phone with no chat

Don't go to the Apple store for this, save your money, Bear! There's nothing wrong with your Mac. SF is just having a slightly rocky transition when it comes to chat, but they're working hard on it, and like @Walker said, you'll be cooking with Ronzoni in no time.

As all have noticed by now the long awaited updates have been started and in fact are in large part done so far as the forum is concerned. We will be working in the background the next few days reinstalling a few smaller options but the overall update has been done. The mobile app will be installed over the weekend and hopefully ready for use by the beginning of next week.

We do have some tutorials we will be putting up to help people adjust to the changes in the site- they will be up this weekend.

There will be a donation link put back up in the next few days. We really do appreciate any donations we get - these sort of upgrades are crazy expensive- in total over $1000 spent on the upgrades and developer to do what we have done and will be finishing in the next few days. After last nights work by Tim chat is working on my iphone and Ipad with safari- so hopefully issue is resolved. In fact on iphone it offered the option of log into SF with touch ID which i thought was really cool...

It was asked for not in disbelief but so I could see what people seeing- It is very hard to try to figure out if everybody is having the same issue without seeing, and also it does help some people find ways to self troubleshoot on occasion- not that it was belief that you didnt know what talking about. I do appreciate the extra effort to post the screen shots.

Hopefully Tims fixes last night have cleared up 99% of the issues- he spent so many hours rewriting code for the the chat program that was supposedly compatible with xenforo2 that it is crazy - but seems to have it taken care of now so that so long as is refreshed or cleared 1x so is the right cookies being used all is good. If that is not the case let us know please, and thanks again for helping us get the info to troubleshoot with.

I'm still able to access chat from a chrome incognito window or firefox private window only, even after deleting this site's cookies, but I'm happy that I can use chat at all now. Thank you!
