I have sources on the inside that tell me the new logo has been chosen. Here is a sneak preview that was leaked to me:
Personally, I can't imagine how it could be any better. I'm sure all the submissions were good, but I understand why this would win.

@Tim. I am so sorry. While we really did think your was the obvious choice it was pointed out the submission date/time -

Was 20 minutes after the deadline , as pointed out by the other member so we therefore had to exclude it. We will of course keep it for the next update after this one for further consideration... Sorry for the inconvenience and but thank you for the perfect submission..
