My heaven would have to include my family. Not my ex husband though. It would be nice like @SillyOldBear said to eat and not gain weight, I have a sweet tooth and shouldn't because I'm diabetic.

I'd need sleep. I once bought a pj that said ''Sleep solves everything''
Maybe not everything but a good long sleep makes the next day better and our brains are functioning better. I don't like pain so no pain. I'd love to see more people that I loved here on earth in heaven.

I will admit that getting opiods 5 years ago made a big difference, I had a shoulder that felt like it was torn, I had to learn to sleep on my back, I couldn't get it up to elbow level. So yes I imagine heaven without pain.

I miss my uncles and aunts so I'd need to have them there, and my grandparents. I love coffee too much so my favourite I make at home would be nice, it's flavoured with hazelnut or vanilla. I would like to meet some of the kind people that I felt close to through many messages that I cared for on the internet forums who struggle like me. I'd love to smell the freshness of spring, lilacs, the first cut of grass, the smell of hay, and see a large harvest moon.

There was a popular TV show in the early 2000s. I won't say the name of it and spoil it. I always felt that most people misinterpret the ending of the show as meaning all the characters died. My interpretation was that Heaven was portrayed as a place where the concept of time doesn't exist. Therefore your loved ones who have passed are there and your loved ones who haven't passed yet are there too. I always liked that concept of Heaven.
I could write a whole essay on this, but in short I would argue that our perception of time is a convenient fiction. We think that time is a linear progression of happenings, but this makes less and less sense the more closely we examine it.
For starters, there is the idea of the "specious present" (specious means something that is plausible, but false). It's a thought experiment set up by calling attention to our ideas of past and future. We are instinctively certain that there is a past, and there is a future.. which should imply that there is a present moment. We call this present moment "now." Here's where it gets interesting: Exactly how long is the present? For how long is a moment that is in the future get to be "now," before it passes into the past? There's also astrophysics and work that has been done in scientifically examining space time using the principles of relativity and gravity, where comparing what we expect to see with what we actually observe suggests that time is not, in fact, linear. Instead the truth of the matter is that time is not a progression, but actually a gigantic, huge, eternal now that is a "happening" in whole. The reason we are confused about this is that our brains are not evolved to solve cosmic mysteries. We break time down into small chunks in order to make it manageable.
Our thinking mechanisms are optimized for escaping predators and hunting large animals, not for comprehending the truth of life, the universe, and everything.

In heaven, my mind will be healed...........................................
I love that! I think that is ultimately my heaven too. To not live in so much fear, doubt and uncertainty. To have my mind just be completely “free” without worries of any kind.

My heaven would also be surrounded by only truly loving, kind, caring and accepting people. People who loved to ponder the mysteries of life, death and the universe in general. Who loved nothing more than to talk for hours on end about theories about all of it, enjoying doing the talking equally as much as hearing the other person’s interesting and thoughtful theories about it all.

It would also have lots of nature - beautiful, enchanted, magical trees, plants, flowers, adorable animals (especially cats, lots of cats!) and the most comfortable fluffy cloud couches, chairs and beds. Everything there would be about extreme comfort, safety, security and peaceful, harmonious energy. It would truly be a perfect, utopian paradise, and everyone would be full of the deepest, most blissful happiness imaginable. Wow, I sure wish there was a real place like that in this world. I hope there will be one day :)

Thank you for posting this topic @1964dodge it has been a true joy imagining all of these things :) Oh, and yes, I wholeheartedly agree, heaven would need LOTS of beautiful, colorful, vibrant, hopeful and lively art ;)

It is a very different plannet... and it's also my "birth planet". Which is pretty fitting i might add.
But why did you choose the 8th planet? Do you mean the zodiac?
In my case, I would choose Saturn, that planet that has a Ring around it. Because I remember a science fiction short story from the '60s where there was an amusement park on Saturn. The main attraction was a Merry-Go-Round that ran around the entire circumference of the Ring so that one complete ride would be a complete orbit around the entire planet!

i learned it was my "birth plannet" after i learned how different and odd that planet is. It truly is an amazing planet.
