I got an indoor exercise bike and I really like it. Done x2 10 mins sessions today. Plan is to work up to 20 mins everyday.
I should do something like that, I had one but it fell to pieces.

I've just been for a walk to Aldi, and did some core exercises, haven't done any planks for a bit but was surprised to find I could do it a bit better than before - 10 seconds in stead of 5. Hopefully a sign of improvement!

Why dont you get one?, go on gum tree, I bet there's a few exercise bikes in you area, probably be able to get one delivered. Could do mins a day and build it up, would be good rehab for you.

I am so disappointed in myself, tried to run a normal little 5k and my emotions overcame me. I started to f*ing cry when I realised everyone had someone to talk to on yher runs except me. I can't run when I'm choked up. Pathetic. I had to finish it at a walk. :(
Try not to be so hard on yourself, it's easy for emotions to overwhelm us sometimes. ❤️❤️❤️

Completed my 10,000 steps for the day ahead of schedule, getting in 11,500 before my night walk. Spontaneously jogged on and off making up probably 1.5-2 minutes worth of tentative jogging, while nobody was looking. @seabird the only person I spoke to was a little dog who was lagging behind its owner who'd wandered off ahead and left it straggling. I hope you're feeling OK. It's Ok to have a wobble. I used to feel those things as well when running alone, not everybody runs with someone else. I'm often like that just wandering around, all these people in groups or pairs and I'm just... solo. Hugs @seabird ❤️❤️❤️

My leg thing is so weird - after all that you'd think it would be flaring but it was better on the way back than on the way out and is just fine now, AFTER the jogging and extra load. I'll have to see how it decides to react when it's had time to think it over 🤔

(h) @AvidFan. That's great your leg and back(?) are doing well again. Well done on the 10,000 + steps.
Thank you for the supportive words, being understanding about the choked up teary runner.walker. 🩵
Sun was too intense for me, which always makes it harder. I'm feeling better, and thinking about it, I suppose I should work on tolerating some ups and downs. I like that phrase, have a wobble. I hadn't cried for such a long time, holding everything under a lid inside. it's actually a great place to run, a paved trail with a fair bit of leafy shade.

I actually did 14,000 steps yesterday including my night walk. Today so far have done 11,000 steps, will probably do another night walk later. Also done 10x bicep pumps and 10x shoulder pumps with my 5kg weight and some core exercises and a 10 second and 6 second plank.

Bailed on the walk/jog this morning, partly because I was moody, partly because the air was smelly and warm due to stagnant air pollution. Sigh. I need to live by the ocean.
but I managed to get my lazy a** going a bit and did workouts for biceps, legs, and core.

1 mile run as part of my 7000 steps afternoon excursion. Walked out to the edge of the woods (about half a mile). Ran a mile deeper into the woods, then walked all the way back. Leg held up, coped in the heat, and felt more like myself. Now to see how the leg responds in the next 48 hours but run and walk were issue free.

Yesterday morning I went out to a trail even though it was humid and hot. I hadn't slept enough the night before, only about 4 or so hours. Managed about 5k of fast walking so it took about 40 minutes. I was fairly destroyed because again, as soon as I was out there my mind went straight to grieving the loss of my brother and end of marriage. My brother died in August, so it could be that's why it's all coming up again. I suppose I'm glad I forced myself out, glad I finished despite the tears.
