I live abroad but my family is still in Iran. Ofc my studies wont stop, I am in med school and that is not getting any easier. I need ways to be able to study.

Nowadays I am rly sensitive, I keep checking the news. I am lowkey happy and relieved about the situation because the US and Israel are pulling this because of a regime change. I am very easily mad at ppl saying Iran is a victim. I am too sensitive, sigh.

I'm from kuwait and I totally understand your worries, don't let the news get in to you they tend to exaggerat !I don't think you where born during the 90s when the second gulf war started but I was ,the news really was feeding on people fear, I don't say things then pr even now are not scary but not as big as how the news portraits it !no nuclear weapons will be used bc that will mean the end of all of us !and no one will do it !
I really hope your family are safe and that you can text them at least 💗

,plus I totally understand the amount of pressure your under regarding your studies, I just finished law school and all my studying years i was struggling with my family efforts to sabotage my college years to force me to drop off and go back to serve my mother ,like a good middle Eastern daughter!!!

Thanks a million, my family is in a city with no military importance so i hope they will be safe. I have talked to them everyday so far. I should definitely pull myself together because they wont make an exception for me on the exam tho.

I don’t know enough of the history of the Fertile Crescent region well enough to comment intelligently on the circumstances of this madness. I will say it is madness, though, because there are humanitarian crises almost everywhere. I am saddened that we have to start throwing more bombs around, as if that was the most important thing.

So, I am worried, too. I hope that your family stays safe and that they support you in pursuing your medical degree. I also hope that all citizens who are just trying to live their lives will be safe, although I think that sadly this is never the case.

I feel much the same way when Russian propaganda (along with very high-level Russian officials) claims that Russia is the victim. This sounds particularly absurd given the size of Russia and Ukraine...
As for Iran, in my opinion, Iran has never tried to appear as a “friendly country.” At least, I don't get that impression. I don't have much knowledge of the history and culture of that region, so I can only speak about my feelings.
In any case, you need to be strong to overcome this. Be strong.

Funny if only Americans could read Farsi comments of how Iranians are thanking Trump and treating him like god lol. I dont think the Islamic Republic is strong enough to do the US any harm anyways.

^ They also do that for Netanyahu. I guess that is the difference between us and the rest of the world who talks against Israel and takes Gaza side.
