Just gonna use this thread to vent

Just need a political venting thread so i can keep my politics off the rest of the site.

Today's vent is just a casual reminder that TERFs are not actually progressives, and will not be satisfied by simply going after trans people:

They aren't just "well-meaning women with valid concerns." They aren't feminists. They're nazis disguising their hatred in progressive rhetoric. What you're seeing in that screenshot is not some surprising quirk, this is the inevitable next step.

First they came for the trans women.

Because we all know that's how one celebrates a win for women's rights and protections, right? Gloating about it while smoking like you're a character in the Godfather.
It's hilarious to me that Joanne acts like this and somehow sees herself as some kind of hero.

I will also point out, it's a bit charitable comparing her to anyone from the Godfather. The fact this is the best victory she could achieve is just a bit sad. She's kinda pathetic that this is her life.

So apparently we've caught the British government out by highlighting that their attempt to enforce sex as the determinant of which bathroom you can use means hairy, burly trans men will have to use the women's loo. The ultimate irony there being that these hypothetical perverts supposedly claiming to be trans women will now have an easier time than ever, cos they can just say they're trans men instead. So the government have now made a statement saying "under certain circumstances, trans men will not be allowed to use the women's bathroom, or trans women will not be allowed to use the men's bathroom."

SO WHERE ARE WE MEANT TO GO WHEN WE NEED TO TAKE A DUMP THEN?

It's amazing to me that there are people claiming this ruling has added clarity on the issue. I reckon trans people en masse need to just revert to the ways of the French in the 19th century. Just piss and shit in the hallways, because "I don't know where else i'm supposed to go." There's clearly been zero thought put into our needs, so fuck it, let them literally wade through our waste until they finally decide to stop being such stupid cunts.

The French do it correctly, a lot of the public toilet's in the South are Unisex. Women will walk past the urinals to get to the toilets, where there is a half height barrier. I don't have much sympathy's for females who are against this, within the trans debate. JK Roland can go fuck off. I don't understand the issue, the chance that some man is going to pretend to be trans so that they can perv on women in a toilet?, what the fuck?

I don't have a dog in this fight as a white mostly straight male but I'm seeing a version of this play out in my real life and I can tell you what the conclusion seems to have ended up.

I live in a rooming house of sorts with shared facilities. The ladies get one extra bathroom and shower in the building but it's in a part of the building mostly occupied by guys. Lately it's become trendy for a lot of the guys to take the risk of using that bathroom cause the other ones are generally gross by the middle of the week.

I have heard about 4 or 5 stories now of those guys running into girls in that bathroom and verbal altercations ensuing.

I suspect before to long somebody's teeth is going to get loosened with a slap. Make of it what you will but I tend to think laws like this are dumb all around cause it warps common sense.

IMHO it’s a manufactured problem that has opposite aims to what the perpetrators claim. It’s got nothing to do with keeping women safe in f***ing bathrooms. FFS, we have bigger problems to deal with! The real aim is to control the masses through division. The ruling class (meaning the rich as opposed to their puppets in politics) is in deep shit if the masses unite against them.

That’s what they use as an excuse to publicly hate on trans people, and portray them as predatory, they know they don’t have a leg to stand on so they grasp at straws. Otherwise they can see themselves as what they are: bigots. Everyone else already knows that of course, but a bit of self-deception lets them keep up the fight.

This is amazing. How lost in the transphobic sauce do you need to be to take the stance "Saying transphobic things isn't political because it's about women's rights!" and think that sounds smart?
