This sub forum has been created to be a safe space for everyone to be able to post about their fears, anxieties around current world affairs - this will include but will not be limited to elections, news, wars, climate. Despite any political, religious or personal beliefs, I think we can all agree that times are getting frightening and stressful no matter where you are in the world and which way you align. We believe it's important to create a space for this, rather than silence it.

The rules of the site still apply to this forum. Please familiarise yourselves with them here if you need to. You are encouraged to press 'Ignore' on the forum as a whole if you do not wish to see it at all, and 'ignore' on threads you do not agree with. Please contact us via 'Ask the Staff' or 'Letter to Admin' if you need help with using the 'ignore' tools or want us to hide this forum from your account entirely.

What cannot be posted here:

• Debates and opinion around political and religious situations (focus on how the Event has affected you)
• Direct attacks on individuals, whether they be a member, politician or celebrity
• Any posts that are not of a supportive nature, this forum isn’t for proselytizing
  (we are not going to convince anyone to have a different ideology, philosophy, or religion)
• You are asked to refrain from posting on someone's thread who has an opposing view to you. Press 'Ignore' and move on.

What you are encouraged to post:

• How the Event is affecting you (e.g xyz is happening/happened and I am feeling anxious)
• Reaching out to others, commenting on like minded posts. You are not alone.
• Tips for getting through it and dealing with Event anxiety.

This sub forum is new and there will be teething issues. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
