Hello everyone,

I saw a picture of @Auri garden yesterday which inspired me to put this thread together. I thought it might be interesting for members to share a picture of something from a green space. This might be a nice plant growing in your garden, on your window sill or at the local park. I'm well aware not everyone will have their own garden, but it could be a photo of a tree in your local park.

Warning - be careful not to identify yourself/ location when sharing the photo.

My garden is a mess right now, but this is a nice indoor Jade plant I have on my window sill.

Hey @Inastorm thank you so much for the tag here in this wonderful thread you’ve posted, great idea! :) I’m not able to post any pics right now, but ya we have a hanging plant inside, and also an aloe vera plant. Outside, we have a big pot of petunias, a cat nip plant (for our kitty lol), and some smaller plants. I’ll take pics of them all later and then post them here :)

I have a couple more tags of some people who might be interested in posting here ;)

I have never gotten into gardening. My grandparents did that most all of their lives but they were entering adulthood when the depression started so they always planted a good variety of vegetables and fruits up until building this house and retiring from farming. One of the few greens I never cared for has been green peas. I remember picking those a lot as a youngun with the adults snapping and preserving them.

Heh heh, lol, I don’t think my “gardening“ is exactly what people are looking for here, so I won’t post any pictures, but I’ve started growing my own shrooms and find the process rewarding.

Besides, none of them are fruiting right now, and soil covered with mycelium is boring to look at.

I’d grow my own pot too, but economies of scale mean it’s easier to just hit up the dispensary. I get more, better quality, for cheaper there.

I might keep one plant growing in the future, just for the satisfaction of smoking my own product.

I think thats great that its alternative gardening. As long as its legal in your state/ country.
I may or may not have grow a hemp plant from bird seed when i was a teenager. I thought the plant was pretty. Couldnt do anything with it, as it was hemp, but was nice to see it grow.
