This summer, I’m going to take a road trip to Oregon to stay at my cousin’s house.
This cousin and I were born less than a year apart. My aunt stayed home after he was born, so I stayed with her everyday while my parents went to work. Then we spent every weekend at another aunt’s house.
When we were kids, we’d spend literally every day together; he’s more like a sibling than a cousin.
