Journaling Prompts

#1
Many months ago, i found a journaling prompt that helped me get thoughts out of my head. i always wanted to journal, but could never come up with what to say. This was a daily prompt/question that was sent to me via txt. i answered them daily till close to Christmas when my mental stability crashed in on me and i didn't want to continue with anything, especially a journal about personal thoughts, feelings n ideas. The questions were fun, difficult, inspiring, and some were even deep.

i wanted to share some of those questions in a daily thing here to help myself as well as anyone else willing to try, to get motivated to keep going. No need to answer here if not wanted, however i would like to encourage at least thinking on, writing down for ones self, or discussing them with a trusted person. i am trying to be hopeful this will help me regain some want/will to restart the journaling by posting what is still being sent to me.

I think this is a great & wise/or "brilliant," idea (or even as an, 'exercise!') @AmberMarie - for what I found to be the case, back when I used to do so--& at first, I was like. . . "Why? What for!" but what I found to be true for me, and maybe your experience will differ. So I'd go into a coffee shop every morning, or whenever. And then I'd just sit down, and plop open my Hard Cover (B&N) 'Breakafast at Tiffany's Journal. And so, I'd just start writing, about no-thing in particular. It could've been the most innocuous idea/or thought & subject/or topic around. Completely asinine; or mundane! And then: you want to know what happened, let's just say 5 min's in, or something like that, all of a sudden, I'm onto whatever topic is really burrowing under-neath the surface, and maybe even lying deeper within my subconscious? I really don't know. But what was so great, and therapeutic, and cathartic, all at once or in the same. Was that this unique phenomenon, that which can only transpire when you set paper to pen, instead of, keeping it remaining floating around and oscillating back & forth in between your head/or cranium; is that some kind of, 'Magic~*.' (happens, or transpires, through this process, I found any-way!) And so, hopefully, you too - can experience a similar kind of Elixir; or something similar that is hopefully useful, meaningful, and in the end prosperous for you & your health. It's like having a conversation with yourself, really. And in a different vacuum, or vortex - maybe, than the one going on in/side or stuffed (& remaining trapped in) your head.

i didn't like today's prompt, so i randomly grabbed a past one to post.

You don't have to live like everyone else. In fact, you'll probably be happier if you don't.

What's one thing you do that makes you like unlike anyone else?
This prompt really got me thinking. I think one thing I do that makes me unlike others is that I perceive things differently than the average person. I'm good at noticing patterns and coming to deep realizations. I like this prompt. It's true that we should live like ourselves and not someone else. Besides being someone else takes to much energy and is exhausting. I'm not sure how actors do it.

I think . . . that -- some of them do it (anyway) because they can (that is to say - they have the talent) & then also; too, because it is great fun, to "Play," a character - & that which you'd never get to do / or (to) be: in REAL Life. If that makes sense? So I can get to experience (kind of / sort of close \ anyways) what life might be like, as this incredible, or awful & horrible, other person or man, whatever & etc.~* ;) Just my best guess, and most certainly an un-educated one, at that! Ha. :D
