Interesting question, though. Tagging

because I donāt think they have enough to do already j/k!!
I am a doofus when it comes to Discord, so I donāt have any answers. But, would it make sense to have a Discord server/channel for SF? Maybe we would be easier to find that way?
There would be pros and cons either way. Iām guessing most of the frequent chat denizens would have to go through a learning curve, and I am in that class (sorta).
At the same time, we might not get pushed down in search engines as with what I heard about Google censorship, creating a new avenue for people who want to find us.
Now, I am from the culture of, āIf you say we should do something, then you should be the person to make it happen.ā I am definitely not chomping at the bit to be a volunteer, but if thatās the bottleneck, I would be open to considering it.
PS - I have been in the leadership council for a nonprofit organization before. The amount of members who said we should do this thing, or that thing, or we shouldnāt fund raise through (insert evil corporation here) was significant. The amount of people willing to drop their time into said effort was nil, no exaggeration.
We eventually adopted the idea that we would āempowerā members to put their discussion items on the agenda, provided they were willing to do the work of initiating and recruiting for it. The number of members who suddenly understood the constraints of an all-volunteer leadership suddenly skyrocketed, lol.
