There's no paid staff here. People are just on SF whenever they want to be (disclaimer, I'm not a staff member so I don't know if they ever have set hours).

It looks like maybe you just posted at a time when no one was on, or no one who usually replies to threads was on. Sometimes there's someone in chat if no one is active on the forums.

Try one of the chat rooms. There are often people there.

Just keep posting and joining in because there is a lot here to offer and it is mostly a matter of learning the place and getting to know the feel and groove here. You are welcomed and valued with us.
