Ideas & Opinions How do i save in private diary

I am trying to put together MY STORY using my private diary as a template where i can reflect edit and return to maybe on another day. If i leave the page say to look at whats new and come back everything is gone.
Plus i would like to reflect on the previous days writing and make notes ect ect.
I do have a solution but it takes me off your site which does not give me the same impodous...thanks for past help i am learning.

You "save" it, simply by posting. Like here.

You would have to post what you want to write and then post again, Paul.

Thanks for popping up again. You helped get me invoived on here and even suggested the diary... I did not like it when i found out i could not share it on a personal basis with chosen few.
However most rules on here are not for me to question.
I cannot do everything on here i will use one drive for the story and photohgrath it and you tube it i think on here.
Or just type it out again

Once you post something, depending on where you posted it in the forum, it’s either set in stone or you have a brief window to edit your post. In the case of the latter, you’d have 5-15 minutes depending where you are if memory serves me. Either way, neither scenario is what you want.

I initially write my posts/emails on Word if it’s particularly lengthy, or, similar to what you intend to do, write down my thoughts periodically so as to not forget.

I learnt a long time ago " when a pupil asks a question a GOOD tutor will twist the question answers the question himself/herself."

I am not a good pupil i need nudging ha thanks to all.

My recommendation before trying google drive check if your email address is revealed when sharing. Email address can reveal a lot about people. You can also create an account on Dropbox paper. https://www.dropbox.com/paper
