Maybe this will not get much traction. I know how fast (snails pace) This Area gets.

Anywho....

Any movie / Tv show that you put on when you can’t sleep, hat help you πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ faster??

Might sound weird so just stay with me.

Master and commander
You’ve got mail
Emperors new groove (anime)
Mad men (show)
Prometheus
Rush Hour
Straight Outta Compton
Everly
Empire records
Simpson’s (The movie or any TV episodes)

Those are a few of my go to

Some I can fall asleep within minutes. Some are boring yet no anxiety so I can just drift away Others are for comfort, warm nostalgia feelings and to drift away. While yet still, others are well...... yet comfort for me :) in my weird crazy brain of mine

I know not everyone understand slashers ..but
I get weird and start putting my friday 13th movies on for when I really need to sleep.

if it's boring you want Pulp Fiction is. but if you want to go to sleep, maybe 2001 A Space Odyssey would be a better choice. but I've been out of the movie loop for so long...

strangely, our TV is in the dining room where sleeping is discomfort at best. so fortunately all I need to do is sleep walk to the bed.

but if somehow I can't sleep, we have no sheep and I'm just out of luck.

The story of my life...oh wait, that's a nightmare. *hysterical

Maybe I'm weird but that would keep me up. But I sleep with a nightlight and fan on and that would probably keep others up.

I used to sleep with a TV on when I had one in my room. I would put it on a timer and I guess the noise and light helped me. But mostly because I hate complete silence and darkness.

If I set my mind to it, I can happily fall asleep with any movie on. Best moments though, is waking up and trying to work out just what the f##k you're watching. Standout moment was when I woke up in the early hours of the morning and the Japanese movie Baby Cart at the River Styx was playing.

Any BBC documentary these days. Even if it's amazing, the music and the way the narrator speaks so slowly - I'm literally fighting with my eyelids a few minutes in.

Pretty much any movie if it starts at 9pm!
