Hi there. Good article. I used to work at a rape crisis centre and domestic violence shelter, and it was well known that disabled women are much more likely to be raped or abused. So very horrifying. Also women from lower socio-economic groups.

I also read a book which highlighted that disabled men are often abused by their caregivers (both male and female, although sexual abuse was usually by males). Predators target those least able to defend themselves.
