These days I'm happy looking at the sky.

But not in a "nature is beautiful" sort of way but in a way that makes me feel like my life is running between other people's lives and that isn't anything strange in me that is strange for all of them.

Today's question/topic is: Share little things that you like/that make you happy!

Sleep has to rank high up for me, but I am pretty happy when snoozin'. Reading is also a relaxing way to pass some time and so is woodworking. Wildlife, animal and plant, of all types are just fun to explore and be amazed at what is around us to see the beauty of. The feel of a relaxing bath and that squeaky clean you get. And warm socks and drawers right out of the washer and dryer are comfy and cozy.

There’s lots of things I enjoy, but some of the things I enjoy the most are animals, nature, art, reading, writing, sudoku, playing games, shopping, helping people, yummy food and good/deep/interesting conversations about life.

Finding answers to my questions.

My town is very hilly and there are many ancient stone walls. I love seeing the wild plants that have seeded themselves between the stones and put out riotous blooms.

I love seeing the little children from local day-cares going for a walk around town hand in hand and two by two, like Madeline. They walk so slowly and take in everything!

I love spotting a bird species I haven't seen in town before. I've been hearing cuckoos (haven't heard a cuckoo for YEARS, and now, recently, three in different locations) and the other day I saw a chaffinch.

Oh yes, the view of trees! I can only live where I can see trees. There's a big one I can see right outside my window - it feels like my faithful friend keeping me company through the seasons.

Vibrant colors, candy, evening twilight, clear night skies, driving in low traffic, washing my face, the cold, heavy rain, heavy snowfall, lightning and thunder, peace and quiet, and so on.

The little things sometimes surprise me throughout the day. Laughter, my cats meows and her cuddling, babies smiles and a newborns cry, birds, all animals and wildlife, getting into a painting, good memories, naps, a good book, good food.
