It seems that when I get any attention from a girl, I get flustered alot. I always get embarrassed if one compliments me. I'm so deeply starved of social connection, that if some random girl my age asked me to marry her, I would in a heartbeat. Guys my age are all about flirting likes its nothing, but my foolish self is as compelling to women as a brick wall. I'm able to be confident in other areas, I'm not even socially inept or awkward. Yet, somehow girls go and flirt with me! How is this possible? I know its a stupid question, but I guess I didnt know women could be that outgoing. But when some of us sad guys idolize we become so much more confident around them, that, until they reject us or laugh it off not realizing that breaks our heart and leaves our soul shattered only descending us further down into the deepest darkest spiral of depression yet. I'd love to shower someone in attention, but I fear being annoying more.
