2. What was the last movie you watched?
Idle Hands (1999)
3. Do you have a favorite movie "genre"?
I like rom-coms, comedy movies, and horror combined with comedy. I don't really know... like black humor or something like that?

Actor: Devon Sawa
Actress: Jennifer Aniston
5. If you had to choose one, movie or music? Why or why not? Or you don't have to explain! :)

1. What is your favorite movie(s)? This is semi-ironic I guess given the circumstances now, but my favorite movie of all time is The Big Chill. Also love Beetlejuice, Death on the Nile, all of the Hitchcock's...there's a bunch.
2. What was the last movie you watched? Sinners, it was amazing!
3. Do you have a favorite movie "genre"? Horror and 80's Classics
4. Do you have a favorite actor(s) or actress(es)? Lupita N'Yongo!
5. If you had to choose one, movie or music? Why? Or you don't have to explain! :) Right now- movie. At other times in my life definitely music, but right now I like the escapism of a movie.

Great questions! Thanks for the tag!

Hey puffymilk, thanks so much for posting a cafe for today, and for tagging me too. Happy Friday to you too! :)

1. Some of my fave movies are: Star Wars (original trilogy only), Lord of the Rings trilogy, Harry Potter series, Shrek (all of them), The Matrix, 40 Year-Old Virgin and Mrs.Doubtfire.

2. Last movie I watched was ā€œLiar Liarā€, was one of the only ones on Prime that my friend and I could agree on lol.

3. Yup, I definitely have a fave movie genre - comedy! Not rom-com, just comedy. Has to be fairly smart though, I can handle a certain amount of ā€œdumbā€ but needs to not be too much or it starts to get a bit boring to me lol. I also enjoy mystery, suspense/thriller (especially psychological thriller) and some sci-fi, when it’s well done.

4. Yup, have lotsa fave actors and actresses, some of my faves are:
Mark Hamill (of course, lol), James Spader, Steve Carrell, Will Ferrell, Tom Felton, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Emilio Estevez, Robin Williams, Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, Johnny Depp, Dominic Monaghan, Charlie Vickers…ok, I’ll stop there for the actors, there’s lots more though lol :p

For actresses, there’s not quite as many that I’m a fan of, but some I like are Lisa Kudrow, Keira Knightly, Drew Barrymore, Maggie Grace, Anne Hathaway, I think there’s more too but can’t remember them right now.

5. Movies. Not sure why overall, other than that I just enjoy them more.

My day was pretty good, did some shopping and got some cool new things. It was fun, but I need to not do any shopping again for the rest of the year lol. It’s a really nice, sunny day, with a good temperature and nice breeze, so that’s another good thing about today too :)

I saw the newest Beetlejuice movie last year, though I never see the original one lol. And maybe I'll watch some Hitchcock's movies.

I agree about the escapism

40 Year Old Virgin is a good one! I haven't finished watching The Matrix (I know lol)

I also love Bryan Cranson, Aaron Paul, Drew Barrymore and Lisa Kudrow! Oh and Bob Odenkirk and Anna Gunn too :D (not movie related but Breaking Bad had such great talents!) And the woman who played Kim Wexler on Better Call Saul

Lot of good responses here. I like movies.

1. What is your favorite movie(s)?

I don't have a favorite anymore - it changes because I see so many. Although not as many as others have seen.

2. What was the last movie you watched?

Nonnas on Netflix great movie. Drama category

3. Do you have a favorite movie "genre"? Comedy action. I like action movies but sometimes thrillers have too much suspense Horror films are my least favorite. Drama I have to be careful that the movie is not too depressing.

4. Do you have a favorite actor(s) or actress(es)? No I like them all.
5. If you had to choose one, movie or music? Why? Or you don't have to explain! :) Music because I can take it with me. I don't have the attention span nowadays to sit still for a long movie but music is ever present and ever changing.

Have a 4 day weekend starting today. It's too cool to do anything outside so I'm doing household chores so that on Monday I can play outside when it's supposed to be warm. But right now I have cat paralysis as the cat is sleeping and kind of purring beside me; just happy that I am home.

1. What is your favorite movie(s)?

I don't know if I have a favorite movie.

I liked the Spiderman series when I was a kid. Now I like some movies like The Godfather, Lawrence of Arabia.

But I never really found a movie that I really liked.

2. What was the last movie you watched?

Bandido da Luz Vermelha (1968)

3. Do you have a favorite movie "genre"?

Action movies, drama movies...

I tend to really like movies that are sort of epic(?) But not exactly epic dramas or long movies.

4. Do you have a favorite actor(s) or actress(es)?

Not really. I don't really care for actors for some reason and I don't even remember names or things in most movies.

5. If you had to choose one, movie or music? Why? Or you don't have to explain!

Music. I just think that there are less boring music than boring movies.

1. What is your favorite movie(s)?

So many to list my brain can't locate on just one. My mind does bounce about and often it is the last one I watched. Earlier today I watched The War Of The Worlds(1953) and then Used Cars(1980), both rank high. I also watch a fair number of mini series with Das Boot, the original 6 part 1980 one and also like Band Of Brothers and the accompanying The Pacific rate high.

2. What was the last movie you watched?

Used Cars(1980) a couple of hours ago.

3. Do you have a favorite movie "genre"?

Comedy I am also partial to horror and sci-fi and some of those overlap with Alien and Aliens being my favorite examples.

4. Do you have a favorite actor(s) or actress(es)?

Cary Grant has always been a favorite of mine especially for how great his sense of comedy in them. Father Goose is priceless.

5. If you had to choose one, movie or music? Why? Or you don't have to explain!

Too tough to call. I work more on visual but love the idea of just relaxing and listening.

Agreed on 40 yov being a good movie, and aw about The Matrix, well the first few times I saw it I don’t think I really ā€œgotā€ it tbh, but was so blown away by the effects, plus having a crush on Keanu Reeves of course lol, that I guess I didn’t really care.

Oh I thought of a few more actors that definitely needed to be on that list - Viggo Mortensen, Hugo Weaving and Parker Stevenson :p I would put Keanu Reeves on it too if he was a better actor lol. He was great and perfectly cast in The Matrix though imo. That’s awesome that you like those actors too, and ya those ones you listed are great as well :)

Cary Grant is fantastic. So many good movies. Arsenic and Old Lace, Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House, the one with the old bone. My favorite is An Affair to Remember. Not a comedy, but a super film.
