So , I am looking out for colleges as it's my last year in school
I feel I should have done this earlier but there were other things and I am trying to be gentle with my past self.
I want to study abroad. That's really expensive though , so I was just going through all of that
If I had some people that are not in my life anymore , I just feel I would have had more emotional , physical , mental strength in me
I have been maladaptive daydreaming
I do try to stop myself as soon as I caught it but yea it's what it is
Posting it here because I am kind of going through it and I have had some kind experiences here so
Ps. Be kind if you truly want to be lol ( no pressure! ) And this may come out as judging your intentions but I do have trust issues , overall just reply to this if you truly want to

"Should have done this earlier" is as much of a mental roadblock as "I'll do this tomorrow". I'm glad to hear you are being kind to your former self.

What are your priorities when it comes to college? Cost? Prestige? The exact course you want to take? Distance from home (far enough that your family won't be dropping in all the time?). Getting a place to study abroad is usually easier when it's your Masters, and there is generally more money available for that. Many European countries offer Masters Programs in English that are relatively inexpensive, and you can often find a part-time job as well.

Anyway, good luck! I hope you find the perfect college to suit your needs.

Ah you're actually right. " Should have done this earlier " or " not doing enough " are anxiety cycles

I want to go a good college so prestige yes but not necessarily because it offers good money later on
But because I really want to be in a good environment. Nice teachers who are not building robots , more activities maybe
Like such

I am thinking of going for philosophy

Yes distance matters and you got me right , that's actually one of the main reasons I want to study abroad apart from obviously better opportunities and learning environment.

Mhmm I guess so , when you have zero money . It's more tough .

If I won't be able to study my bachelors from abroad , I hope I will be able to do my masters if I choose to

Thankyou
