I've decided to try and go gluten free like my sister

So I'm finally deciding to take serious action for my IBS-D. And that includes going gluten free. My sister has similar gut trouble and she always says that gluten free has radically changed things for the better. So I've decided to give it a try. I don't really have anything to lose other than paying a little extra for gluten free products and avoiding some things I enjoy like Italian food and good bread. Although I will say she has never had an official diagnosis so I can't be sure it will work for me.

It's been a really good decision for me, and a couple close reelatives who also went gluten free. I miss the French and Italian breads, a lot, but it's worth it. This morning's breakfast of (100%) buckwheat pancakes was satisfying.

Best to you.

I really hope it works for you. Do let us know if it does. I have IBS-C and know I should try it, but can't seem to give up the pasta yet. The gluten pasta.
