For the past fortnight I been trying to get better at not taking feedback
at whatever hobbies I'm doing at he moment.
I previous response is to take any corrections /suggestions as crippling
flaws in my efforts and fell utterly demotivated.
This has proven to be a big barrier to starting any kind of new activity.
Some suggestion from my therapist and my own ideas:
1. (Therapist) Feedback is different form criticism and involves advice on improving
something further not scrapping it altogether. - So implying I'm discounting largely
positive progress.
2. (Me) Respond and offer my own suggestions so it becomes two-way
learning and collaborative.
How do others keep motivated?
