Xenforo forums over the past few months have been seeing spam posts from existing user accounts. Bots hitting forums using lists of emails/passwords leaked elsewhere. We strongly recommend that all users change their password ASAP.
You're welcome to say what your old username was if you'd like, but it's also ok if you don't want to do that. Knowing your old account might give folks more background info to go on, but making a fresh start might be good too.
