Changing my life

Black sheep of my family....

The last days I was absent. You know. I live directly on the pilgrim way to Santiago de Compostela. Going this way is something - how shall I say? Fulfilling? Spiritual? I overcame many of my bad habits (the rule was no beer, no smoke, no food, no YouTube, I reduced medication - and continue...). I found to myself a little and know that I am on a good way. It will take me another 2 or 3 months to get physically in shape again (I was hanging around too much at home). But this is peanuts. For the moment I repeat what I did in Spring already: juice-fasting and sport. It is astonishing with how little money you can live nicely. I just need 1,5 liters of tomato juice and 1.5 liters of milk (which I mix with bananas, strawberries or clementines - the cheapest) per day - water with tea and honey is nearly free. I do not need more, except some vitamins and some olive oil (real one, easy in Spain). My depression is gone (for the moment) and this time I have built a wall of security around me - sport (gym and walking), believe. As soon as I stop that or do less - I know I am in danger and can counteract. Sleep regulates itself after a time - I learned again that sleeping from 2300 to 0500 is the best.

To say is short: For once I am feeling good, happy, balanced. I hope sincerely that the next "fall down" will be late. I know it will come, like always in my life - but I try at least to stay as long as possible now on the good side.

Happy new year to all of you nice people here.

It's inspiring to hear about your journey on the pilgrim way to Santiago de Compostela and how you've transformed your habits for the better. Your dedication to juice-fasting, exercise, and finding inner balance is commendable. Keep up the great work!

Have you ever considered trying pickleball as another enjoyable way to stay active and continue your positive momentum (check it out at https://anypickleball.com/a-beginner-s-guide-to-joining-pickleball-leagues-near-you)? It's a fantastic sport that many find both fun and energizing. Keep up the great progress!

Yep, heard about it. For today I am in deep crisis. I hope it will pass. But normally I have 4 sports I do: walking, Judo, Gym and Paragliging. 96 days of fasting now - and I continue. Very good experience. Difficult to find jeans now (28), so I go for these Monojeans.... But today is fucked off - so far is clear. Back on track tomorrow or Wednesday....
