What do you do when you feel down on the afternoon?

Like, when I finish those things that I have to do, and when I get some free time in the afternoon, I always have this feeling of empty sadness.

It feels like I am stranded from the world, like if everybody is living out there, and I'm stuck here.

How I can stop to feel like this?

I have that as well, @Fbr27. Almost always I'll make myself some black tea, and pick up an entertaining fiction book which I can disappear into, or go do a workout. It's pretty grim getting started on the workout, because one of the features of feeling like that is a lack of energy. But 100% of the time I feel better after getting back from the run or whatever workout I did.

Hey Fbr. I think you are going through what I was going through several years ago, and maybe sometimes even now. In the past, I had many days and weeks where I did not want to do anything, felt sorry for myself and my life, and felt absolutely empty inside (that's when I made an account here and that's what I named myself after). To tell you the truth, I'm living just for the sake of staying alive, and what I'm living for are those moments in life that make you happy, that make you laugh, and those that make you forget everything about your own life. Therefore, I kinda started to do everything to distract myself from life. I started to read many light novels on Royal Road and live inside their fantasy lives. I watched tons of movies and anime, so much that I can't really be bothered anymore today to watch anything, as I started to not like it anymore, sitting and watching to the despair of my girlfriend XD. Though I love documentaries about nature. Nature is awesome, and I always learn interesting new facts. I also started to do anything sport-related. Here it is up to you to find something you really like and are good at. I myself have been swimming from a very young age with a pool at home; I was outside every day. So today, after many trial and errors, trying out the gym, or many self-practiced home sports routines, I always, in the end, am the happiest in the swimming pool, swimming my 1km and diving long distances. I can just shut out everything else while I'm in the water, and it is, for me, a place of peace and silence. While I'm in the water, I'm away from this world and its problems. So find yourself stuff like that, especially the books on Royal Road or manga if you like those. They help me because they often make you laugh. If you want any ideas, I will gladly give you some good ones.

After a while it all got better, i made good friends that took my out of my stuck situation and helped me out alot, and then its just about finding a good job trying your hardest if it makes fun that even better and doing what you like in the afternoons, for example reading, swimming, cooking or going for a bysicle ride.
