Help

Hi guys,

I can’t seem to log in anymore using WiFi... I have tried multiple browsers and cleared cache etc.. I use google chrome as a default but just can’t gain access at all... I have never had an issue before but today 29/03 I can’t get access at all... can anyone help??

For anyone that wanders along and reads this later --- I'm 99% sure this is an issue with the UK putting the brakes on "adult content" on their ISPs. They assume that anything with "suicide" in the title must be bad, I guess because they can't determine what is "good" and what is "bad" by other means (not true but anyway...)

So if you are in the UK and you suddenly can't access the site then try from your phone without using the wifi... or by going to something else you think is *ahem* adult and see if it's clickable. If you can't access it from home on your wifi then you've likely been hammered by your service provider. This has happened to more than a few people here and it seems to just come out of nowhere. They have to call and have it 'unblocked'. Sorry, we have no control over this.

If that's the case matt, maybe change your DNS settings?? (to google or open DNS??).

it seems that the word "Suicide" has now been blocked by my ISP along with a lot of other sites, I dont use adult sites and never have done well not for a long long time, its a faff to get through to my ISP so I will just use mobile now, much easier and less hassle, I do have a VPN that I can use.

@Jayjay289, try changing your DNS servers in your router. I did that to get around blocks on torrent sites here in Oz. That should fix your problem 👍

You just have to log into your ISP's website. There should be somewhere where you can change the settings, it might be called something like content filter, shield, parental controls etc. You have to choose 18+ or unblock all or similar.
