Xenforo forums over the past few months have been seeing spam posts from existing user accounts. Bots hitting forums using lists of emails/passwords leaked elsewhere. We strongly recommend that all users change their password ASAP.
I'm sorry you're experiencing such trouble. The site is running at about a second a page to load so this is definitely on your side. What browser are you using?
Ill be honest with you, that is the absolute worst browser to load the site on. I'd suggest you use ANY other browser on the planet to access the site and you'll be okay. You're using that on an Amazon tablet, yes? I do get that that's really a pain to get any other browser on (though it is possible). No access to the site on another device?
Hi Ryan, I am afraid the problem is your browser. I just did the checks and SF has an average load speed of 1.34 seconds and the last 0.4 seconds of that is finishing loading the chat software to ping chat up at the bottom of the page.
Silk has flash set as a default, if you can Google how to turn that off, it will help. If you can also Google how to change the default so that requests mobile sites instead of desktop sites that should help you also. I am sorry that it is taking so long for you to load the site. There are also youtube tutorials on how to get Chrome on your Amazon device instead. I am sorry not to be more helpful; I am not familiar enough with Amazon devices.
Not very fimilar with Amazon tablet but as per Google they let you side load app.. Check if you can see "apps from unknown sources" in security section of settings.. After enabling search Google Chrome on apkmirror website or let me know I will paste the direct link of Chrome apk.
I am incredibly sad because my pages keep taking too long to load today (with an error message telling me it took too long, so I have to close my window and come back) and it can't be a coincidence, after the maintenance. Yesterday I wasn't on SF much after the maintenance so I wouldn't have noticed.
I've made a small change this evening, so hopefully this should be resolved now. I can't see any specific reason why @Auri was having these issues, as their IP address was showing in the access logs OK.
