Xenforo forums over the past few months have been seeing spam posts from existing user accounts. Bots hitting forums using lists of emails/passwords leaked elsewhere. We strongly recommend that all users change their password ASAP.
I've had that happen to me on a few occasions. I just walked away and came back the next day to see everything was working again beautifully, So I assumed it was a network error whereby they need to sort their shit out.
